Peer Helpers: Supporting Students, Building Community

Imagine a school where students feel empowered to help each other navigate the ups and downs of daily life. This vision becomes reality with Peer Helpers, a student-led initiative designed to foster a supportive and positive school environment. More than just friends lending a hand, Peer Helpers are trained to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to their peers, creating a network of understanding and encouragement.

This program operates on a multi-tiered approach, recognizing that different students have different needs. Peer Helpers themselves become part of the solution, working alongside educators to build a vibrant school culture where everyone feels accepted and valued. Whether it's offering a listening ear to a classmate facing struggles or facilitating conflict resolution, Peer Helpers act as positive role models, demonstrating kindness and empathy while acquiring valuable communication and support skills.
